One of the ways that technology can be used in the classroom is to take better notes. For example, many students prefer taking n

otes with a keyboard of some kind rather than handwriting them. Students can type faster than they can write and, many times, can type without looking at the screen. This means that students can maintain more engagement with the professor as they are recording notes. Also, students can use recording devices on their tablets or laptops, if their professors allow. Students can record important aspects of the lecture to listen to later or even take pictures of examples on the board. Note-taking is very different when using technology.
