Since the beginning of the novel, Bilbo and the dwarves have been in conflict. Thorin, especially, doubted Bilbo's abilities and

the need for him on their journey. Consider Thorin's last words to Bilbo:
"There is more in you of good than you know, child of the kindly West. Some courage and some wisdom, blended in measure. If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. But sad or merry, I must leave it now. Farewell!"

Into what kind of family was Milton born in
harina [27]

Answer:

John Milton was an English poet that was born in England in 1608 and died in 1674. He was best known for his epic Paradise Lost, and because of his strong belief in liberty and also in the right that people had to read and interpret the Bible by themselves.

The fact that Milton was born into a Protestant family, from the Church of England, was really important because first, it marked his belief in the individual reading and interpretation of the Bible, and second, because he almost became a priest himself. The second important thing about his family is that his father was an amateur composer, which marked and influenced Milton´s own passion for music and also the importance of it to his poetry later in life.

Explain why compromising is usually considered as a "lose-lose" method.
ioda

The compromising conflict style is often referred to as the “lose-lose” method. When you address conflict with this style, you encourage each side to make some significant sacrifices. By definition, this means that neither side gets exactly what they want

Hi-i would just like to know what this means and how im supposed to compare and contrast the two stories, books,or movies Compare
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

Differences between Movies and Books

Movies and books, as stated previously, are two mediums of entertainment. Some people prefer one over the other, but they have equal merits. Books are windows to any world, and those worlds are only limited by one’s imagination. Books are known to also improve ones vocabulary. Movies, on the other hand, is something that can easily let us feel what feeling the director wants to convey because of the mix of visual and aural clues. They can make us cry or laugh because we clearly see and hear and feel what is being portrayed. Books and movies have also been tools for education and propaganda, but mostly they are for entertainment.

Movies and books are ways into worlds unknown; it’s just up to you which ever you will take.
