The answer would be: relatively constant environmental conditions

When the environment condition is changed, the organism need to changes too. If the organism reproduced asexually, their genetic material of the offspring would be identical without change. This makes asexual reproduction couldn't produce a different offspring.
Sexual production will produce a various genetic material that might turn the changes into beneficial condition.

What is advantage is conferred to algae and plants that possess sporopollenin?
crimeas [40]
The advantage that is conferred to algae and plants that have sporopollenin is that they have reproductive cells that are more resistant to desiccation. Remember that a sporopollenin is a polymer that is inert and makes up the outer layer of pollen grains and spores. Sporopollenin is also found in the cell walls of several taxa of green alga, including Phycopeltis

An organism has three different versions of Gene Tyx – version a, b and c. Determine the inheritance pattern of this trait. Then
Rina8888 [55]

Explanation:

As we know that different versions of the gene are called as the alleles. Allele is the various sequence of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or alleles are known to be different forms of the genes, which can be seen at the same locus on the homologous chromosomes. Let us know assume that gene Tyx has two alleles in it, which represents the two forms of expression having same character. i.e. Tallness and Dwarfness TT(tall), Tt(tall), tt(dwarf). In the given question, the version

(a) TT, where alleles exist in the homozygous dominant conditions,

(b) Tt, where alleles exist in the heterozygous dominant condition

(c) tt, where alleles exist in homozygous recessive condition. Therefore, it might follow autosomal dominant inheritance, or autosomal recessive inheritance or incomplete dominance etc.
