They organized an airlift of supplies that lasted almost a year.

Further Explanation:

<u>The Berlin Blockade was an attempt that was made by the Soviet Union in year 1948 and that was done in order to limit the ability of France, Great Britain as well as United States from travelling to their military sectors situated in Berlin which was there within the Russian occupied East Germany.</u> Against that, the Western powers airlifted the daily necessities and food supplies which lasted for nearly one year and provided much needed relief to the Western part of Berlin. This event was the first major clash that took place post world war 2.

<u>The agreement was made post world war 2 and that agreement was made to divide Germany and Berlin into occupational zones</u> as Berlin was located deep into the Russian zone and this agreement was made in year 1945 but post that relations between Soviet Union and West Germany saw downfall and it reflected in the disputes during the meeting of United Nations that took place in year 1946.

Answer:

During World War II, the United States and the Soviet Union fought together as allies against the Axis powers. However, the relationship between the two nations was a tense one. Americans had long been wary of Soviet communism and concerned about Russian leader Joseph Stalin’s tyrannical rule of his own country. For their part, the Soviets resented the Americans’ decades-long refusal to treat the USSR as a legitimate part of the international community as well as their delayed entry into World War II, which resulted in the deaths of tens of millions of Russians. After the war ended, these grievances ripened into an overwhelming sense of mutual distrust and enmity.

On what grounds did Nixon refuse to turn over tapes during his presidential scandal?
Harlamova29_29 [7]
Nixon refused to turn over the tapes during his presidential scandal under the grounds of "<em>the right to privacy"</em> protected by the 4th amendment. However, the 4th amendment didn't apply to him, because he was the leader of the US, and the citizens have a right to know what is going on inside the White House, as decision made in there can affect the people of US.
