The freedom of press is good , for one is able to express their thoughts freely without being harmed for one's own opinion. For example, nation's​ such as North Korea does not allow the people to express their own opinions,and the people of North Korea aren't happy. Freedom of press is important to the US, because everybody gets to voice their own opinions
