Explanation:

What was his dream about? I reccommend putting more "drama" into your story. Like this:

He was excited to tell everyone about his dream even though they probably wouldn't believe him. (Name of your character)(Is it alright if I call your character Jim for the example?) Jim couldn't contain himself in his excitment but he bore it patiently. Maybe.. Just maybe Jim would tell his closest friends. But even if no one believed him, Jim knew that his dream was real and that was something he would never forget.
