The role of Helen Burns in the play is Jane’s pious best friend at Lowood Institute. She is extremely intelligent, calm, and caring, but her most important aspect is her devout religious faith. While Miss Temple is <span>the teacher in charge of Lowood Institute. She is the only person able to protect the girls at the school from the cruelty of Mr. Brocklehurst. She played an important role as </span><span>someone who takes the trouble to care about the truth and someone who encourages Jane to apply herself to her education.
