Answer:

When the war began, the U.S. economy was in recession. ... Entry into the war in 1917 unleashed massive U.S. federal spending which shifted national production from civilian to war goods. Between 1914 and 1918, some 3 million people were added to the military and half a million to the government.

Answer:

The war ended on November 11, 1918, and America's economic boom quickly faded. Factories began to ramp down production lines in the summer of 1918, leading to job losses and fewer opportunities for returning soldiers. This led to a short recession in 1918–19, followed by a stronger one in 1920–21.

Explanation:

Oklahoma is a state in the south-central region of USA. It became a state in 1907, from the very beginning in 1908 Oklahoma government started numbering system for its initiatives and its 1st successful initiative was Oklahoma initiative 7 (1910) which was displayed in 11th June 1910 special election by proposing two most important questions:

 • Shall permanent state capital to be established?
 • If yes then options were Guthrie/Oklahoma/Shawnee

People chose Oklahoma, initiative was passed and Oklahoma City became Capital. After becoming state many new initiatives were passed like Oklahoma Initiative 10 for literacy test required as a qualification for voting, while Oklahoma Initiative 11 rejected as it was demanding for liquor sales to be allowed. These all-new initiatives demanded huge financial support which was catered by the federal government.
