Answer: Option (A) and (D) are correct.

Explanation:

Atomic number means the number of protons holded by an atom. On the other hand, atomic mass means the sum of total number of protons and neutrons holded by an atom.

For example, in an isotope of oxygen as oxygen-15 with an atomic number 8 means that there are 8 protons.

So, number of neutrons present in oxygen-15 will be as follows.

                    Atomic mass = no. of protons + no. of neutrons

                            15 = 8 + no. of neutrons

                    no. of neutrons = 15 - 8 = 7

Hence, this isotope of oxygen atom has 8 protons and 7 neutrons.

how do you think the change in chlorophyll levels is a response to changes in the lenght of day from summer to fall
babymother [125]
Chlorophyll absorbs sunlight to be used in photosynthesis; therefore, a plant producing higher levels of chlorophyll during summer would be advantageous because it is able to absorb more sunlight when more is available. This means that it could potentially use photosynthesis to create more glucose, which the plant uses for functions such as growth.

What is the role of DNA in determining an organisms traits
pogonyaev
DNA carries the "codes" that communicate what traits will be formed. The nucleotides in DNA are read and transcribed into mRNA which travels ot of the cells nucleus and then goes to a ribosome. In the ribosome, tRNA matches to mRNA with its anticodon. Each of the tRNA molecules are carrying an amino acid which are all connected by the ribosome to create an amino acid chain, which is a protein, which are traits in an organisms.
