Write one paragraph to compare and contrast how the two texts by Sonia Nazario present similar ideas but in different genres. In
omeli [17]

Answer:

Both the editorial and the biography support the author’s purpose of drawing attention to the plight of refugees. The two pieces work to create emotions in the reader and empathy for Enrique and other young migrants from Central America. However, the author uses different approaches in each text. The editorial includes words with strong connotations to persuade readers. In this text, the author works to convince readers the United States should change its refugee policy. On the other hand, the biography relies on narrative techniques and figurative language. The author uses setting, characterization, and personification to educate readers on the topic.

Please write 3 arguments for the given essay:
aalyn [17]

A good sense of humor can't cure all ailments, but data is mounting about the positive things laughter can do. A good laugh has great short-term effects. When you start to laugh, it doesn't just lighten your load mentally, it actually induces physical changes in your body. Laughter can:

1. Stimulate many organs. Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen-rich air, stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain.

2. Activate and relieve your stress response. A rollicking laugh fires up and then cools down your stress response, and it can increase and then decrease your heart rate and blood pressure. The result? A good, relaxed feeling.

Overall, laughter is good for your health and being positive would lead to positive results.

Darya [45]

Answer and Explanation:

Writing is a very difficult task. This is because writing requires a great concentration, perhaps writing is the activity that requires the highest level of concentration of an individual. This is because, first of all, it is necessary for the writer to be able to organize his own thoughts in a logical and understandable way. In addition, it is necessary that the writer be able to express these thoughts, paying attention to grammatical rules, literary resources and devices, punctuation and a series of other elements.
