Why do you think spending waking time in bed might interfere with the ability to fall asleep faster?

<span>As humans, we are creatures of habit and much of this is due to subconscious trial and error experiments repeating over and over. Waking time in bed could possibly create a disconnect (bed/horizontal --- no sleep) when later then trying to actually fall asleep.</span>

Greenhouse gases have just the right molecular structure to absorb infrared radiation that the Earth emits. It re-emits most of that infrared energy in all directions, warming the atmosphere to its comfortable average temperature of 15°C (60°F). So the greenhouse effect is a good thing.
