did the 1994 flood stay within the floodplain and its bounding valley slopes? does this suggest that the 1994 flood was of norma
lord [1]

The 1994 flood did not stay within the floodplain and valley slopes rather it covered a larger portion of Georgia where many people lost their lives.

Tropical Storm Alberto produced massive flooding over areas of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida in  1994. The first tropical cyclone that occurs during annual hurricane season, Alberto came from a tropical wave over the northwestern Caribbean Sea.

Floodwaters entered hundreds of homes and led people to flee their homes. Georgia experienced the worst effects from the storm. Flooding resulted in the closure of bridges, while croplands were overrun in Georgia alone. By the end of the flood, people were displaced and there was massive destruction of property. The flood was an abnormal magnitude of the river.
