How the the playwright describe Higgins at the opening of act 2

English
1 answer:
Elan Coil [88]3 years ago
4 0
These are the exact words to describe Higgins:

He is, in fact, but for his years and size, rather like a very impetuous baby "taking notice" eagerly and loudly, and requiring almost as much watching to keep him out of unintended mischief. His manner varies from genial bullying when he is in a good humor to stormy petulance when anything goes wrong; but he is so entirely frank and void of malice that he remains likeable even in his least reasonable moments.]

So, Shaw is telling us that he is easily excitable, wants to do many things at once, is easily distracted, and gets really mad if something doesn't go the way he wants it to go. However, he is also quite honest, and people seem to generally like him.

What does the mass percent of an element tell you about a molecule
sineoko [7]

Mass percent of an element tells you what kind of elements are present in a molecule and what are the levels of each element which contribute to the total molecular mass of the molecule.

There is a formula to calculate the mass percent for each element:

% mass = (mass of element in 1 mole of the compound) / (molar mass of the compound) x 100%

The units of mass percent are usually grams.

zubka84 [21]

Answer

the connotative meaning of the word juvenile used in the second sentence allows us to refer to the term "naive" or "immaturity" since the subject describes his youth as the cause that he can not notice many things at a certain moment. He then refers us to the understanding that it was because of his young age, little experience or immaturity that he has not been understand facts before.

I hope this helps you well good luck on this!
