compare in table format the positive and negative impact of social media on teenagers in democratic society

English
1 answer:
son4ous [18]3 years ago
3 0

Positive impacts of social media are that kids are able to establish relationships with others online without going outside the house.  They are able to explore other places in the comforts of their own home.  It can be a place where they can find others whom they have something in common with.  The negative impact is that they become more introverted as they spend more time on the net rather than with real people.  They can fall prey to people of dubious character who use false identities online.  Then there is cyber-bullying where many teen-agers have been traumatized.  We live in a democratic society but we must careful and responsible for the things we do online and in the real world.

(1) Earths crust is made up of relatively rigid plates that ride atop Earth's hot, semiliquid mantle. (2) The plates are called
GalinKa [24]
The answer is D. Sentence 7. When it says "plates may also collide", it is bringing up another topic about the plates. As you read past sentence 7, you notice a shift in topic as you are reading. Instead of plates sliding against each other, the speaker is now talking about them colliding.

Can impudence ever cool off a tense situation? Why or why not?
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Impudence's meaning is not showing due respect for another person; impertinent, insolent. I highly doubt that a person who is impudent with others could ever cool off a tense situation. They would have to change their attitude towards others to be able to calm down.

For example, "the student is being impudent with his teacher".
