I believe the answer is:
i. The Constitution was sent to the states to vote.
During this step, Each states would send their representation to review the addition or change in the constitution.
ii. States voted on whether to approve the Constitution.
In order for a constitution to be ratified, they need to achieve more than 3/4 votes from the states.
iii. Nine of the thirteen original states had to approve it.
If the proposal fail to obtain sufficient support, it would either be discarded or sent back to the legislators in order to be re-examined.
iv. The Constitution became law.
After it becomes law, all future legislation that are made cannot deviate/violate this new part of the constitution.
