Answer:

A dramatic movement in which the playwright distorts external appearances to portray deeper meanings is referred to usually as expressionism.

Explanation:

With a tragic vision of the human being, Expressionism, as the name itself raises, seeks to be an expression of the feelings and emotions of the author of the work. Thus, artists exaggerate and distort themes in their process of catharsis.

Revealing the pessimistic side of life, expressionism used art as a way of reflecting the existentialist anguish of the alienated individual, the fruit of modern, industrialized society, through the distortion of external appearances to depict deeper meanings.

. If you saw a boat on the horizon, would you be able to read the name of the boat? Explain.
tigry1 [53]

For an observer standing on the ground with h = 2 meters (6 ft 7 in), the horizon is at a distance of 5 kilometers (3.1 mi).

The Earth curves about 8 inches per mile. As a result, on a flat surface with your eyes 5 feet or so off the ground, the farthest edge that you can see is about 3 miles away

Humans can see from 380–740 nanometers (nm)

So, the answer is no, if you can only barely see 3 miles away, then you wouldn't be able to read the name of a boat 3.1 miles away.

Answer:

This is a Sharecropper’s contract.

Explanation:

After the Civil War, several free slaves created farms on land that had been abandoned by white people (white Southerners). The Democrat President Andrew Johnson, who was a slaveholder, restored every land to the white owners. Thus, former slaves were economically dependent. However, they asked for autonomy and the Sharecropper’s contract was created. It stated that landowners had to divide plantations and create an acre suitable for farming by a family. In exchange for the use of land and supplies, sharecroppers had to give generally 50 % of the crops to the white landlords. Yet, the owners gave credits for sharecroppers to buy goods with very high-interest rates, which gave rise to poverty. This contract, in particular, was made between landowner Isham G. Bailey in Marshall County, Mississippi, and two freedmen in 1867 and it stipulated different arrangements for both families living in the land.
