Fort Sumter, in Charleston, South Carolina was a strategic place for both, the Union Army and the Confederate Army. The fort served as a protection for shipping lanes and trade routes.

There were two significant battles held at Fort Sumter. The first one was on April 12, 1861, were the Army Union surrender after one day of battle. The second battle in Fort Sumter was on September 8, 1863, when the Union Army tried to retake the fort. Today, the place is a historical monument site.

The antiquity of humans in the new world was established by the folsom site. why?
Rasek [7]
The Folsom site in New Mexico established the antiquity of humans in North America as at between 8000 and 9000 BC or Late Pleistocene (the Pleistocene ended about 10,000 years ago) and the evidence was unequivical because a projectile point was found embedded in the matrix between two ribs of a bison dating to this time period. Previously it had been thought that mankind in North America only dated back about 3000 years.

If one thinks illegal immigrants should become American citizens, should they become American citizens automatically or should t
Lerok [7]

Those who have green card status have entered the country legally. They must wait 5 years before you can even apply to become a US citizen and 3 if you are married to one.

Why should someone who entered illegally be entitled to citizenship quicker than someone who has entered legally? There should be some provision for helping those who have entering illegally if their status at home would put them in danger, but immediate citizenship is not the way.

The question is complex and the answer even more complex. Help but don't rob those who are legal residents.
