Answer and Explanation:

What does revision mean?

Revision means improving the overall quality of a piece by changing parts of it.

How is revising different from editing?

Editing is the process of correcting the text, changing anything that might be an obstacle to reading it. These changes include more straightforward aspects, such as spelling, grammar, sentence structure and punctuation, as well as more intricate aspects such as making complex concepts simpler, trimming excess words, replacing dense language with clear wording etc.

Revising, on the other hand, refers to looking at the text with a new perspective. The changes made to the text will affect how readers understand the ideas discussed. Some examples would be: adding more detail; eliminating unnecessary elements; adding new thoughts; reorganizing ideas etc. A revised text often looks much different than the initial one.

Why do all the latin names for the moon related to water and weather?
rusak2 [61]
This might be a partial explanation as to why latin was used....basically...early astronomers didn't know too much about the features during their time so..they used latin as a neutral language ..although now we know to be inaccurate....the names have just stuck.

kramer

Answer:

The choice that best describes the relationship between Chopin and the awakening are as follows:

'Chopin based The Awakening on events in her own life'.

'Chopin lived with conformity and sadness'.

'Chopin also used memories of her early losses in her fiction'.

<u>Explanation: </u>

  • '<em>Chopin based The Awakening on events in her own life</em>'. From the sentence, that the <em>roots of Awakening were from Kate Chopin's own life proves that the book's incidents were more or less based on her own life stories. </em>
  • '<em>Chopin lived with conformity and sadness</em>'. Chopin wanted solitude. Because of the losses that she suffered at a young age; she had developed a rather sad nature. Thus, she lived according to the standards and rule, but sorrow was always a major part of her life.
  • '<em>Chopin also used memories of her early losses in her fiction</em>' as the main character of the story is very similar to Chopin. Thus, her character is built upon the losses.
