Considering your research and the government’s goal of checks and balances, write a 300-400 word explanatory essay that explains

how the system of checks and balances is achieved through the judicial application of the 14th amendments equal protection clause. Use details from the Supreme Court case you’ve researched to clarify your explanation. Then, go on and explain how the 14th amendment had applied to your own life. Where have you recieved equal protection under the law in either school or work? Conclude your essay with thoughts on the importance of checks and balances and the 14th amendment, particularly.

The Fourteenth Amendment's equal protection clause was enacted to ensure that all people have the same right within the law regardless of where they came from or the color of their skin. This later on lead to the principle, that Even Government officials will have to be subjected to law just as ordinary citizen do. Which lead to the creation of check and balance systems.

Hope this helps
