Answer:

The word "she" in that sentence refers to the author's song.

In this exercise, you have to answer to who or what does the word "she" refer in the lines one and two from the poem “My song has put off her adornments” by Rabindranath Tagore.

Some subjects are given in Column 'A' and their predicates are given in Column
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

1. All insects have six legs.

2. Children are fond of asking questions.

3. A good student is always punctual.

4. None of us heard the telephone bell ringing.

5. Life in the hills has its own charms.

6. Indian farmers are hard-working people.

7. Very few trains halt at these small stations.

8. A long train journey can be tiring.

Explanation:

The subject of the sentence is what the sentence is about. It tells us who or what performs the action expressed by the verb or who/what is being described.

The predicate tells us what the subject is doing or describes the subject.

To correctly match the subjects with predicates, you need to pay attention to their meanings and the subject-verb agreement. Sentences need to make sense. This is why you wouldn't say that children have six legs. You should connect the subject all insects with the predicate have six legs.

The subject-verb agreement is a rule according to which the subject and verb must agree in number. If the subject is singular, the verb should be as well. The same applies when the subject is plural - the verb needs to be plural too.

trasher [3.6K]
My understanding/translation of this would be just basically saying that the world we live in (assuming that's what "here" is referring to) is controlled by an almighty being that is above us and the evil that exists here. If controlled by a lesser being, it can do harm to him. Assuming that this is because men (humans) are seen as weak, and naive compared to almighty beings.

However, this last part is a bit tricky. The speaker could be referring to a man smarter than another man whose desire is to control the world, or they could be referring to an almighty being.

This is just my interpretation of the statement, there's no way of knowing what the writer intended for this to mean, unless you asked the writer himself! I also don't know the context of the story so your guess ought to be better than mine. But anyway I hope this at least gave you an idea of the interpretation :)
