Another Reason I think he is responsible is that if his messenger got there in time Romeo would have known about the plan. But instead his messenger got caught up in a plague and disease. So he couldn't make it in time to tell Romeo of the plan. My last reason why I think Friar Lawrence is responsible because if he was there at the tomb in time he could have stopped Romeo from killing himself.
