Which Character trait does Medgar Evers share with Madam C.J Walker

English
1 answer:
sweet-ann [11.9K]3 years ago
3 0

Answer:

C. Resentful of government

Explanation:

Madam C. J. Walker is considered to be the first wealthiest African-American woman in history. She was a self-made billionaire. She helped many African-Americans work and became a role model for the blacks when it comes to achieving their goals despite their color. Medgar Evers was a World War II veteran who became very active in overturning the segregation occurring in the U.S.A.

Both Madam C.J. Walker and Medgar Evers show that they are "resentful of the government," that's why both of them became activists. As Madam C.J. Walker became richer, she became more active in the political issues that concerned the black people. She was supportive of demonstrations and riots and even joined the "National Association for the Advancement of Colored People" (NAACP).

Medgar Evers became more active in protesting against segregation when he moved to Mississippi with his family. He became a leader in civil rights movement and organized boycotts. This made him the white supremacists' center of attention and it led to his death.

So, this explains the answer.
