The Revolutionary War was different from the French and Indian War in that they each had defined and different purposes.

The French and Indian War was a part of a larger war, known as the 7-Years War, and it was fought between France and the UK as they tried to determine who was going to be the most powerful nation.

The American Revolutionary War was fought by a colony of the UK against its colonial overlord and was being fought to establish a new form of Government in North America.

What is bad about Yellow Journalism?
s2008m [1.1K]
It is the reporting of sensationalism usually in the form of attention-grabbing headlines which are generally preposterous and obviously not well researched if at all. A large part of social media is yellow journalism, sometimes equated with “citizen journalism.” In some cases it takes a more subtle form as for example when an organization publishes or broadcasts a block-buster story without authenticating it and without indicating that it has not been verified. There are any number of tabloids that practice it for commercial reasons. These are known in the industry as “supermarket tabloids” or “rag sheets” or just “rags.” Some are better disguised and are made to look legitimate. Examples are the Weekly World News, the Sun and the NY Post. Most major supermarket tabloids in the U.S. are published by American Media, Inc. including the National Enquirer, Star, The Globe and the National Examiner.

15 points for help!!
Goshia [24]

Answer:

  • The cartoon plays on the common idea that bureaucracy is overly complicated, and that it requires a lot of paperwork to perform even the most simple of tasks. People also assume that this ludicrous amount of paperwork makes bureaucracy slow and inefficient.
  • While bureaucracy can be slow and inefficient at times, people often forget that the paperwork is there for specific reasons. Leaving a written record of every action taken ensures that accidents happen less often, and that accountability is maintained. Also, bureaucratic procedures can be slow because of the amount of people that require them or due to the complexity of some issues. So the stereotype of bureaucracy is for the most part undeserved.
