ANSWER:

Poland’s energy resources can be described based on large deposits of coal.

EXPLANATION:

 • Poland's energy resources depend on the large deposits of coal in all forms- hard as well as soft.
 • Most of the energy requirements in Poland are met by hard coal. Coal is used for generating electricity in Poland.
 • Most of the power generating plants work on hard and brown coal.
 • However, the government of Poland is now trying to 'use renewable energy sources' for the generation of electricity.
 • Natural gas is one option that is being used as an alternative to coal for meeting the energy needs of Poland.

For energy resources, Poland's most important one is coal (and also lignite) which is mined in Upper Silesia in some large open pits mined there since the 19th century at least. It does have some petroleum in the Baltic Sea but still must import it from Russia.

Heterogeneous populations are more common in
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

Homogeneity and heterogeneity are concepts often used in the sciences and statistics relating to the uniformity in a substance or organism. A material or image that is homogeneous is uniform in composition or character (i.e. color, shape, size, weight, height, distribution, texture, language, income, disease, temperature, radioactivity, architectural design, etc.); one that is heterogeneous is distinctly nonuniform in one of these qualities.[
