The answer is A: what is going on inside Gregor´s head.

In this story by Kafka, Metamorphosis, we encounter Gregor Samsa, who one day woke up, for no apparent reason, turned into a horrible bug. The story develops Samsa´s struggle to conform to his new bodily form but, more importantly, to his conscious inner thoughts striving to find meaning to his new life, as well as his previous life, and what will become of his family if he continues being a bug.

Drunk driving can be stopped in many ways, but one of the biggest ways is by having breathalyzers installed into all cars. Breathalyzers are devices that put cars into ignition interlock when a person with illegal amount of driving levels of alcohol in their system. Their car wont start if they breath into it and they have too much alcohol in their system. Drunk driving is a big deal and needs to be stopped. Ergo, breathalyzers is the best thing to stop drunk driving.

Answer:

It might seem like hours, but his cigarette is still lit and his watch lets him know that his wife has been gon only eight minutes.

The lighted rectangles refer to the windows across the street, from where he hopes someone can see him and get help.  

Explanation:

Only after several paragraphs describing the character´s situation, and all he tries to do to get back inside from the edge outside his house, we get a reference to how much time he has been there.
