In this story by Kafka, Metamorphosis, we encounter Gregor Samsa, who one day woke up, for no apparent reason, turned into a horrible bug. The story develops Samsa´s struggle to conform to his new bodily form but, more importantly, to his conscious inner thoughts striving to find meaning to his new life, as well as his previous life, and what will become of his family if he continues being a bug.
