Answer:

The DNA fingerprinting is a technique that is used by the forensic scientist to find out who has done the crime, they study and analyze nucleotide sequence in order to solve the crime.

DNA is used where a suspect is identified, the sample of suspected is compared to the evidence that is found at the crime scene. If the DNA sequence of the suspect is similar to the DNA, that is found at a crime scene. It means the crime is done by that person.

It is done in order to find out the human age and its lifespan as it is influenced by genetics. It can also be used to find out genetic disease and to find its cure, to identify the dead body, and in a criminal investigation.

Profile a certain suspect. In a police case you will never just have ONE suspect. Finding finger prints and analyzing them will help you determine one person who fits the crime scene :)

Compare surface, subsurface, and placer mining in terms of damage to the environment.
vfiekz [6]
Surface mining, which is also known as strip mining, is when soil and rock overlaying mineral deposit is removed. It can cause habitat destruction, air pollution from dust particles, soil erosion and pollution. Subsurface mining is removing deposits from the Earth by drilling underneath layers of rock and dirt. To keep the pathways clear, mining companies have to pump out large amounts of water, which go into surface ecosystems. That disrupts the ecosystem by changing the pH conditions of soil and water sources. Placer mining is mining of stream bed deposits for minerals, a way of obtaining minerals and metal resources. Although, because it is small, causes less damage to the surrounding environment it still can disrupt river ecosystems with pollution and sediments.

In STR profiling, PCR is used to obtain enough DNA to then detect the number of STRs at I specific loci.
Licemer1 [7]

PCR technique is important in STR profiling in order to amplify and detect the number of Stars at a specific gene loci.

What is Short Tandem Repeat (STR) profiling?

Short Tandem Repeat profiling is a technique in molecular biology used to compare allele repeats known as STRs at specific loci in DNA between two or more samples.

The PCR (polymerase chain reaction) technique used in STR profiling involves making multiple copies is a particular segment of DNA in order to make enough quantities detectable in the analysis.

Therefore, PCR technique is important in STR profiling to detect the number of Stars at a specific gene loci.
