The correct answer is A) Northeast and Midwest.

The two regions of the United States that were the main centers for industry and factoring during the Second Industrial Revolution were the Northeast and Midwest.

The United States Second Industrial Revolution was from 1870 to 1914. This was an interesting period of new technology and increasing opportunities in manufacture. Inventions and technology in electricity, steel, and petroleum helped to shape the industry in America. These factors allowed two regions of the U.S. to be the main centers for industry and factoring during the Second Industrial Revolution. Those were the Midwest and the Northeast.
