It
depends on how equal the cuts would be, if it’s equally divided maybe it would
work. However, equality doesn’t mean equity because there are times that a
President should really look on the matters that the people needed. In budgeting,
we should list down our top to the least priorities and from there we can set
where our taxes (money) will go. Thinking not just for the majority of the
population but for keeping ALL the people in mind can help the President be
re-elected.
Sample response: Because I chose to make cuts to education, this could mean that fewer citizens have the opportunities they need to get an education and receive a quality job. I also cut health spending, which means that less funding will go to hospitals and research. Finally, I chose to make cuts to income security, meaning that needy citizens may not receive resources. Each of these changes could result in fewer jobs, which in turn may hurt business.
