Answer:

Mining in Kakadu National park would eventually lead to environment devastation, such as loss of endangered species, water and soil polution and that is also a threat for local people.

Explanation:

Kakadu National Park is located in northern Australia, and due to its biological diversity it is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. However, this area in very rich in uranium deposits, and this metal is important in nuclear and military industry.

Mining in national park is justifiable from strictly economical perspective, beacuse Australian government sells uranium in worl market. On the other side, mining affects endangered species, it ruins the ecosystem, water and soil. Local natives are also threatened by mining, beacuse potential poluttion of water and soil affects their living places.

Possible outcome of excesive mining would be total devastation of environment, displacement of local people and removing of national park from UNESCO List.

Can you think of any problems that could come from using only 15 years of data to predict trends for the next 100 years? Explain
pentagon [3]

Explanation:

A major problem with using 15 years of data to predict 100 years of data is that the 15 years could have been setting a trend, then level off.

For example, if the 15 years of data was a graph, and it was going up every year, then what if 20 years into the 100 years it stops going up? Then that means the data was invalid because there wasn't enough to base any trends off of.

You can prevent this from happening by extending the collection time of data and to reduce the amount of time that the data will be used to predict.

Hope this helps!

Rainfall produces four kinds of soil erosion: splash erosion, sheet erosion, rill erosion, and gully erosion.
