Mining in Kakadu National park would eventually lead to environment devastation, such as loss of endangered species, water and soil polution and that is also a threat for local people.

Explanation:

Kakadu National Park is located in northern Australia, and due to its biological diversity it is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. However, this area in very rich in uranium deposits, and this metal is important in nuclear and military industry.

Mining in national park is justifiable from strictly economical perspective, beacuse Australian government sells uranium in worl market. On the other side, mining affects endangered species, it ruins the ecosystem, water and soil. Local natives are also threatened by mining, beacuse potential poluttion of water and soil affects their living places.

Possible outcome of excesive mining would be total devastation of environment, displacement of local people and removing of national park from UNESCO List.
