old, Brad is 12 years old/ In how many years will alice be 6/7 of brads age." Last: "A rectangle has a length that is 15 more than its width. A second rectangle with a perimeter of 72 has a width that is 5 wider and a length that is 2 shorter than the first rectangle. Find the dimensions of the first rectangle.

Answer:

12 years

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's say the number of years we're looking for is x.

Nova's age: 33+x

Mia's age: 18+x

and of course: 33+x = 3/2 * (18+x)

This is an equation you can solve.

33+x = 3/2 x + 27

x - 3/2 x = 27-33

1/2 x = 6

x = 12

Question
mixer [17]

The intervals are given as follows:

 • In range notation: [-282, 20,320].
 • In set-builder notation: {x|x ∈ ℝ, -282 <= x <= 20,320}

What is the range of elements notation for interval?

The range of elements notation for interval is given by:

[a,b].

In which:

 • a is the smallest value.
 • b is the greatest value.

In this problem these values are given by:

a = -282, b = 20,320.

Hence the interval in range notation is given by:

[-282, 20,320].

How to write the interval in set-builder notation?

The same interval can be written as follows, using set-builder notation?

{x|x ∈ ℝ, a <= x <= b}

Hence, for the situation described in this problem, the set-builder notation for the values is:

{x|x ∈ ℝ, -282 <= x <= 20,320}

Hexagon AGHBGHCGHDGHEGHFGH is a reflected image of hexagon ABCDEF. The midpoints of the sides of hexagon ABCDEF are also shown.
Lynna [10]

Answer: Hexagon AGHBGHCGHDGHEGHFGH coincides with hexagon ABCDEF when GH passes through themidpoints of opposite sides; that is, it is a perpendicular bisector of the two sides. HexagonAGHBGHCGHDGHEGHFGH also coincides with hexagon ABCDEF when the line of reflection joins a pair ofvertices opposite one another on the hexagon. There are three perpendicular bisectors and three pairs ofopposite vertices. In all, there are six lines of reflection that will map the hexagon back onto itself.

−3x+y=−2
bogdanovich [222]

Answer: 5y= -40

Step-by-step explanation: When you add the -3 and + 3 they equal zero and that single y has an imaginary 1 in front of it so 1y+4y=5y. And -2 +-38 is -40. :)
