What three countries in Mexico borrow money from during the Civil War

History

Answer:

England, Spain, and France

Explanation:

As a consequence of the large indebtedness acquired after both  the Mexican-American War (1846-1848) and the Reform Wars (1857-1861), the Mexican government faced such economic difficulties that president Benito Juarez suspended interest payments to foreign countries on July 17th, 1861. This angered  France, Spain and England, who united their efforts to apply  gunboat diplomacy on Mexico, and force it to continue with these payments. On December 8th of the same year, the Spanish fleet and troops from Spanish-controlled Cuba arrived at Mexico's main Gulf  port, Veracruz.

Which of the following did not lead to the development of a two-party system?
Tom [10]

The development of a two-party system did not result from <em>A. the selection of presidential candidates from "the Virginia Dynasty."</em>

The two-party system, which started with the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists, continued to develop until during the controversial presidential election of 1824 between John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson.

The two-party system developed over concerns over the <em>abolition of slavery, voting of virtuous candidates, and the financial crisis of 1819.</em>

Thus, the <em>selection of presidential candidates from "the Virginia Dynasty" </em>did not develop the two-party system in the US.

Why do many people still argue about the decision to drop atomic bombs on Japan in 1945?
e-lub [12.9K]
Because it is a sensitive topic. Some believe that it was revenge for Japan's bombing of Pearl Harbor, while others say it was wrong to use such powerful weapons, bombing not one, but two towns, and killing more than 129,000 innocent japanese people.
