Brobdingnag is a land found on the fictional book called Guillever's travels by Jonathan Swift. Guillever's ship exploded and he was separated from his group, leading him to the land where he realized was actually called Brobdingrag - a land of giants. Though, the colossal size of the inhabitants were harmful to humans, they were said to be civilized.
