The defining characteristic of potable water is that it can be used and consumed without risk. The correct answer is C.

This cannot be said for other types of water - rivers for example aren't always necessarily healthy and clean enough to drink from.

The answer is c. Can be used and consumed without risk

Consuming non potable water could generate a great risk toward our health because of the baacteria or any other small organism that might live in the water.

currentyly , about 89% people in the world have access to potable water. While the rest ( usually the one who live in non developed country) do not have access to it.

qaws [65]
