Answer:

Evaporation and not enough rain can cause the salinity of the ocean to increase.

Explanation:

The great ocean conveyor is also known as the gulf stream. The gulf stream is a circulation system which depends on temperature and salinity for its movement. This is caused by a constant variation in the salinity and temperature in the world oceans at a given time.

a)If the ocean temperatures increase by 5 degrees then there will be higher sea levels due to the fact that cooler water results in denser waters which also result in sinking waters.

b) If the ocean becomes more saline then we will have denser waters also which will result in a decrease in the sea level and ocean temperature. it is important to note that an increase in salinity results from high evaporation.

c) When the ocean becomes less saline, then we can assume there has been enough supply of fresh waters to the ocean. This will result in an increase in the sea level.

Explain why there is global warming.
erica [24]

There is global warming because of increased CO2 and Methane in the atmosphere. The CO2 is mostly from emissions from cars and such. The Methane is mostly from cows, meaning beef and dairy. This gets trapped in our atmosphere, letting heat warm the earth but it traps the heat. This leads to an increase in temperature.
