It could go either way, there are many different factors that go into it. The author, the book, the vocabulary, the description etc. on a tv-screen they are showing you and giving you a visualization of what is going on in certain situations. While on a page you have to use your own imagination to determine what things look like based on the description your author gives you.

The last time I tried doing something new was on the soccer field. I usually take a more offensive position but I’ve started taking more defensive approaches and I receive better results. I play much better as defence and I wouldn’t have known had I not experimented.
