The correct answer is:

Martin Luther King Jr.

The Montgomery bus boycott was a massive demonstration that had been sparked by the arrest of Rosa Parks on December 1955. It concluded with the U.S. Supreme Curt ruling as unconstitutional the segregation on public buses. It was organized by the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA) and its president, Martin Luther King, Jr., who became a prominent civil rights leader as international attention focused on Montgomery.

Martin Luther King, Jr. would become a spokesperson for nonviolent protest by African Americans thanks to his use of the power of words and acts of nonviolent resistance.

Why were so few women involved in the founding of psychology ?
Afina-wow [57]

There were few women involved in the founding of psychology because women haven’t been taken seriously in the workforce. Psychology was found in the 1980s, where women employment was not common.

EXPLANATION

Psychology was found in the 1980s, by a German psychologist called Wilhelm Wundt. To this day, Wundt is known as the Father of Psychology. In the 1980s, women have not taken seriously in the workforce. Women were expected to either be a mother, a housekeeper, or a worker. A woman was not perceived as a leader, even more, a founder. If a woman at that time wanted to be a founder, she might have been ostracized by the people around her.

There might have been a few women making theories like Freud in those days, but the only way that their voice could be heard was to get a job as someone’s assistant, and their boss could claim their ideas. Women in that day and age were not encouraged to pursue a professional career and obtained a high degree in education.

Women were able to work in the workforce and getting paid equally as men only after the year 1920. This practice has been normalized for a couple of years, and finally, in the early 1960s, it was approved by law. British civil service announced that there has been a law that stated women must be paid equally as men.

The Three Estates social system in France ensured balanced representation of all people and treated each social group fairly. Tr
max2010maxim [7]

The correct answer is FALSE.

The Estates of the Realm were the social classes in which the French feudal societies was divided: clergy (1st estate), nobels (2nd estate) and peasants and burgeosie (3rd estate). The 3rd estate comprised the majority of the country's population. There was almost no social mobility between estate. On top, the nation was ruled by a monarch with absolut powers.

The only representative body in France was the Estates General, an assembly that gathered representatives from the three estates, in case that the king required their counselling. In 1789, king Louis XVI called the last reunion because of the financial troubles that were affecting the government.

In the Estates General, each estate got one vote. The members of the third state considered this unfair as they represented the majority of the country's population and, under that system, they could always be outvoted by the much smaller 1st and 2nd estates. Due to this dispute, the 3rd state left the assembly and founded the National Assembly that would trigger the start of the French Revolution.
