West Dean House inherited by the art patron name Edward James (poet) who commissioned to create an object called lobster telephone to the surrealist artist Salvador Dali. West Dean House is a country estate with 8000 acres of land which located in southeastern England. West Dean House purchased by his father from Frederick Bower in 1891. The West Dean House after extensive alterations prepared for house parties and partridge shoots. Edward James inherited the estate at the age of 25.
