Answer:

The correct answer is C. Osceola organized an armed resistance to the forced removal of the Seminole from Florida.

Explanation:

Osceola was one of the most prominent leaders of the Seminoles. As a young man, he had been transferred from Georgia to Florida.

He opposed the treaty of Payne's Landing (1832) by which they were forced to sell the lands of Florida and move to Oklahoma. In 1835 he murdered Charley Emathla, a Seminole chief who had sold his land, and General Wiley Thompson, an agent of the United States government. He started the Seminole War in the Florida Everglades. When in October 1837 he went to San Agustin under a white flag, General Thomas Sidney Jessup arrested him and locked him in the prison in Charleston in which he died, perhaps killed although his death is attributed to malaria.

Marguerite de navarre's tale of the spanish widow is characteristically northern because of its emphasis on
kozerog [31]

Marguerite de Navarre’s tale of the Spanish widow is typical of a northern tale because it lays emphasis on Pessimism and Doubt about religious institution like churches. The significance of religious institution is far more widely held in southern states, whereas the northerners are far more predisposed to the teaching from the enlightenment period. From this, we can safely conclude that the tale has northern characteristics.

What does the son of Messenia give Odysseus?
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

Hi, while I cannot answer all of your questions since my Greek Mythology is kind of rusty and I do not know which version of some stories you were told, I will answer the ones that I do know. Skipping the first question, I would describe Odysseus as cunning, bold, courageous, brave, and smart. Odysseus' wife is Penelope, answering both of your questions concerning this topic. Helen's parents are Leda and Zeus. The King of Sparta chooses Menelaus as Helen's husband. Paris interferes with Menelaus' and Helen's marriage. Aphrodite offers Paris the most beautiful woman in the world, the woman being Helen. Menelaus responds to Helen's and Paris' affair by declaring war against Troy.
