What was one of the reasons that the civil war meant a halt in momentum for the womens right movement
butalik [34]
Because the civil war started, many people were more concerned about
#1: freeing the slaves or keeping slavery
#2: Keeping the Union together or forming another country
etc...

that many didn't spend a lot of time thinking about getting women rights. Most women were also busy in factories, being nurses, or taking care of their homes that they didn't go outside to march for their rights

hope this helps

How did Native Americans resist white efforts to take their land?
Sever21 [200]
The Native Americans resisted by basically doing rebellions. They would raid places and burn down places and etc, until they got what they wanted. Even in some places their efforts were so impactful laws were changed.

tatiyna
I think stan should try closing his eyes, and slowly breathing in and out, by releasing his anger. He could also be super annoyingly nice, so people are nicer to him. I've never done this in history lol but I hope this helps. And if this is for a book, then my answer is pointless lol
