In an ecosystem, many organisms are able to live and thrive because of the variety of organisms. These organisms are able to consume these organisms to survive. It all starts with the autographs, which are plants. They are able to make their food from the energy from the sun. Next, the primary consumers eat those plants for energy, the secondary consumers eat the primary consumers, and so on and so forth. Therefore, this creates a food chain that allows organisms to survive while also preventing them from over-populating.
