The name of the major desert on the Arabian Peninsula is called: Arabian Desert. The largest desert on the Arabian Peninsula is called "Rub' al Khali,' and is part of the Arabian Desert. The desert occupies almost the entire Arabian Peninsula with 900,000 square miles.
