The domain of 3^x is real and greater than zero for all real values of x.
Therefore dom F(x)=2+3^x is all real and greater than zero.
See graph of F(x) attached.

Focus on y=3^x first.  The domain of this function includes all real numbers, positive, zero or negative.  When complex numbers are considered, the domain includes complex numbers in additionl to all real numbers.

Thus, the domain of <span>F(x)= 2 + 3^x consists of all real numbers.  Certainly F(x) is defined for negative x values.</span>

Use the conditional statement to answer the question.
yarga [219]

the correct option is the first one:

"Yes, both the statement and the converse are true."

<h3>How to use the conditional statement?</h3>

Here we have the conditional statement:

"If a number is odd, then it is not divisible by 2"

Now we have the question:

"Can the statement be written as a biconditional and why?"

A biconditional statement is of the form:

"P if and only if Q"

And this means that if any of the two propositions is true, then the other is also true.

In this case:

P = a number is odd.

Q = it is not divisible by 2.

Now, by definition, even numbers are these that are divisible by 2 and odd are these that are not.

Then the statements:

"If a number is odd, then it is not divisible by 2"

"If a number is not divisible by 2, then it is odd"

are true.

So the conditional and the converse are true, this implies that the biconditional statement is also true.

Then the correct option is the first one:

"Yes, both the statement and the converse are true."

Suppose I have three variables in my dataset called testscr, str, and income. I first execute the command "reg testscr str, r".
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

4. It should be less than coefficient on str in the first regression

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the str and income are positively correlated and the coefficient on income in the second regression is positive, the coefficient on str in the second regression therefore should be less than coefficient on str in the first regression.
