y= \frac{3}{4}x-1\\\\y=0\ \ \to\ \  \frac{3}{4}x-1=0\ \  | \ add\ 1\ to\ both\ sides\\\\ \frac{3} {4}x=1\ \ | \ multiply\ both\ sides\ by\ \frac{4}{3}
 \\\\x= \frac{4}{3}\\( \frac{4}{3},0)\\\\ x=0\ \ \to\ \ y= \frac{3}{4}*0-1=-1\\(0,-1)

Y = 3/4x - 1
to find points, plug in a value for x and solve for the y.

i'm going to start with x =4, and solve for a y

y = 3/4(4) -1
y = 3 - 1
y = 2

The point is (4,2)

Find two other values by choosing two other x values and then you can graph the line

Hope this helps!

You have to find the radius r, which is half of the diameter. So r is 3. Then plug in r and you get 12 cubic inches

Answer:

Surface area of the cube = 150\ cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given shape in figure 1:

Cube with edge length = 5 cm

To find the surface area of the cube.

Solution:

The surface area of a cube is given by the formula:

Surface\ Area = 6a^2

where a represents the length of the edges of the cube.

For the given cube a=5\ cm

Plugging a=5\ cm in the formula to find the surface area of the cube.

Surface\ Area = 6(5)^2

∴ Surface\ Area = 6\times 25 = 150\ cm^2

  • All angles in a triangle add up to 180°

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Set up Equation</u>

<em>Every angle must add up to 180°.</em>

(6x - 6)° + 54° + 90° = 180°

<u>Step 2: Solve for </u><em><u>x</u></em>

  1. Combine like terms:                    6x + 138 = 180
  2. Isolate <em>x</em> term:                              6x = 42
  3. Isolate <em>x</em>:                                       x = 7
