F(150) = 1500......(150,1500)
f(650) = 3900......(650,3900)

slope = (3900 - 1500) / (650 - 150) = 2400/500 = 24/5

y = mx + b
slope(m) = 24/5
(150,1500)...x = 150 and y = 1500
now sub and find b, the y int
1500 = 24/5(150) + b
1500 = 720 + b
1500 - 720 = b
780 = b
so ur equation is y = 24/5x + 780 or f(x) = 24/5x + 780 <==

or if u need it in standard form..
y = 24/5x + 780
-24/5x + y = 780....multiply by -5
24x - 5y = - 3900 <===

Point D is the image of D(-2,1) under a reflection across the x-axis. What are the coordinates of D?
vredina [299]

Answer:

(-2,-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

To reflect something across an axis we need to change the coordinate of the other axis.  To reflect a point across the X axis we need to change the sign on  the Y axis because that will put it on the other side of the X axis.  In this question the 1 is what we will change from positive to negative.  By doing this it will move the point from above the X axis to below the X axis.

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything still unclear!

A carpenter uses 65 shelves to make 13 bookcases. She uses the same number of shelves for each bookcase. Are 32 shelves enough t
ohaa [14]
Hello There!

First work out the number of shelves per bookcase:
65/13 = 5
It is 5 shelves per bookcase.
6 x 5 = 30.
Therefore 32 shelves are enough to make 6 bookcases.

Hope This Helps You!
Good Luck :)

HELP PLZ<br> How does the graph of a linear inequality differ from the graph of a linear equation?
musickatia [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The main difference in the graph of a linear inequality is that we shade (darken) an area on one side or the other of the line.  We draw that line as a solid line in cases where ≤ or ≥ are involved; otherwise we draw a dashed line for cases involving < or >.
