3. Is Jessica a static or dynamic character?
Explain your answer.
What is a static character
monitta

Answer:

I don't know who Jessica is, but all characters in a story are either dynamic or static. A static character is one who doesn't undergo any significant change in character, personality or perspective over the course of a story. A dynamic character, in contrast, undergoes a major transition in one or more of these ways.

Hope this helps

Which excerpt taken from “Ballad of Birmingham” by Dudley Randall is an example of sensory imagery? “brushed her night-dark hair
cestrela7 [59]

The excerpt from “Ballad of Birmingham” by Dudley Randall which is an example of sensory imagery is “brushed her night-dark hair.”

“Ballad of Birmingham” by Dudley Randall is a poem which is a conversation between a mother and daughter about a 'Freedom March' which will be happening on the streets of Birmingham. The daughter wishes to attend the march but her mother restricts her to go there and tells her about the dangers of going there. Instead, she sends her daughter to Church which is a safe place. But unfortunately, a bombing happens in the church in which the mother finds her daughter dead. She falls prey to the act of racism.

The line“brushed her night-dark hair” appeals to both the sense of touch and sight in the poem.
