I believe the answer is: D. It would improve the economy's situation

friedrich von hayek believe that government intervention would only benefit some part of the organizations in a private sectors while reducing the power of the other organization, which tilt the balance of power in the market.

When this happen, people would be discouraged to be involved in opening up new businesses, which would stunt our economic growth.

You do the reverse here of what you did in the other question.

Find the multiplier for a 23 year old female in a 5 year plan (2.30)

You then divide the premium (242.11) by 2.30

To find the face value, you multiply that answer by 1000 and round to the nearest decimal.

You are just backing into the face value this time.

Migration from Europe to the United States during 1870-1913 did the following to the factor prices in the U.S. It increased the
morpeh [17]

Answer:

It increased the reward of land and reduced the reward of labour.

c

Explanation:

Migration can be described as the movement from one country or region to another country or region.

Migration of labour from Europe to the United States would increase the supply of labour in the United States and reduce the supply of labour in Europe.

As a result of the increase in supply of labour , there would be a decrease in the wages paid to labour.

Also, due to increase in labour in the US, the demand for land would increase. Land would be needed for either economic activities or housing. the increase in demand for land which would outstrip the supply for land would lead to an increase in the price of land

As a result of the migration of labour from Fiji to Australia ,

  1. the rent of land in Fiji would fall due to decreased demand
  2. the wages paid to labour in Australia would fall due to an increase in the supply of labour
  3. the wages paid in Fiji would increase because there would be a fall in the supply of labour

The shareholders' equity of Janeek Enterprises includes $253,600 of no par common stock and $532,300 of 5% cumulative preferred
storchak [24]

Answer:

$3,115

Explanation:

Preferred stockholders has an advantage that they are paid first when there is any dividend is announced. The residual dividend will be divided into the common stockholders. Any prior years due dividend and current years dividend associated with preferred share will be paid first.

As per given data

Preferred shares = $532,300

Dividend on preferred shares = $532,300 x 5% = $26,615 per year

As in 2015 $23,500 was declared, the dividend of $26,615 is due in respect of preferred dividend.

2015

Arrears  = Amount of Preferred dividend - Dividend declared = $26,615 - $23,500 = $3,115

All the dividend of $23,500 is paid to preferred stockholders there is no dividend for common stockholders in 2015 and still there are arrears of $3,115 due in respect of preferred dividend.
