First, u lay out the numbers u have.
z ^2+ z + 4z^3+4z^2
Now look at some rules. In order to combine these, they have to be same letter same power. These are not so the answer is gonna be the same thing. It is the equation. U can’t simplify it further.
D is your answer. If you multiply the numbers ,you would get 23.868. It is closer to 24.
