Answer:

To maximize the profit, the farmer should plant 30 acres of crop A and 20 acres of crop B

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x -----> the number of acres of crop A

50-x ----> the number of acres of crop B

we know that

10x+5(50-x) \leq 400

10x+250-5x \leq 400

10x-5x \leq 400-250

5x \leq 150

x \leq 30 ----> inequality A

The maximum value of x is 30 acres

The profit is equal to

P=120x+90(50-x)

For x=30

Find the value of P

P=120(30)+90(50-30)

P=120(30)+90(20)

P=\$5,400

therefore

To maximize the profit, the farmer should plant 30 acres of crop A and 20 acres of crop B

Answer: 1 is not, 2 is, 3 is, 4 is, 5 is, 6 is not

Step-by-step explanation:

1 is not because 2 has two arrows coming off of it and each input can only have one output. 6 is not because if you draw a line down the graph it will hit the figure more than once( this is called the pencil drop test)

It has a 0.6-mile-per-minute speed limit.

What is the distance?

Distance is defined as the product of speed and time.

Given that the distance traveled in 3 seconds is 3/100 miles.

To determine the distance it can travel in 1 minute.

We must first determine the distance traveled in 1 second in order to get the distance traveled in 1 minute.

It can cover 3/100 miles in 3 seconds.

So, in 1 second it can travel = 3/(100)(3) = 1/100 miles.

Now, We know that there are 60 seconds in a minute.

Thus, it can travel in a minute.

⇒ (1/100) × 60

⇒ 60/100

⇒ 6/10

⇒ 0.6 mile

Hence, It has a 0.6 mile per minute speed limit.
