The Boston Massacre was a confrontation that happened on March 5th of 1770. British soldiers killed several people on King Street in Boston.
16 thousand colonists rebelled against the taxes that were imposed by Britain, because of that they rallied shouting “no taxation without representation”. Patriots vandalized stores that sold British goods and intimidated merchants and their costumes.
Violence escalated and five colonists died, thirteen were arrested, including eight British soldiers, one officer, and four civilians.
