Answer:

The Venezuela Crisis of 1902-1903.

Explanation:

The Panama crisis a naval blockade carried out by Germany, UK and Italy. It lasted from December 1902 to February 1903. The blockade was carried out because President Cipriano castro has refused to pay foreign debts caused by Venezuelan civil wars.

During the State of Union address in 1904, Theodore Roosevelt announced that US would intervene in the any conflicts between Latin American and European powers instead of allowing the Europeans to make direct claims as it could be a threat to US security.

He said that according to Monroe doctrine he was justified to exercise international police power to end the wrongdoings and unrest in Western Hemisphere.

Which of the following inferences can be made about the religious makeup of Europe around 1600 CE?
erik [133]

B. Most nations had one primary religion.

The Reformation had occurred in the 16th century (the 1500s). By 1600, the positions had solidified, and nations typically were of one religious position or another. Italy, France and Spain and certain other states remained staunchly Roman Catholic. Most of the German states had become Lutheran, as had Scandinavian countries. England had established the Church of England, its own brand of Protestantism. Many cantons in Switzerland had become enclaves of Calvinism. There wasn't much of a notion yet of religious diversity within the same community or society. Each principality or territory tended to have one official religion operating in it.

Which two of the following were main causes of Arab-Israeli conflicts in the twentieth century
zalisa [80]
Two main causes of Arab Israel conflicts in the twentieth century were:

a) the division of Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states.

This general statement is quite known, as all three monotheistic religions claim ownership of the Holy Land.
We can generally say that after the Crusades, Christians remained out of the conflict due to the massive losses they faced when they had tried to invade and conquer it (when Salah Al deen was at power, before the rise of the Ottoman empire).

I am not sure about this one, but I assume the best answer would be D)US support for Israels military

It's a generally known fact that the US is a close ally of Israel, and this is mainly why there are immense issues and conflicts between the two religions whom are living in the same territory/land.

Generally, this topic tends to be those ones that kind of get biased responses (you know, due to people taking sides). I tried making this response as non-biased as possible, filtering it from opinion and such.

Hope this helps. Comment if you need assistance. Glad to assist! :)
